What’s life all about anyway?

Life. We only get one, Make it count. Its short, goes by faster than you think and there’s so many cliches. You’d think by now we’d have a user manual, a guide map, a step by step plan to show us how to get from birth to death.

And we already do, its just we’re not used to using it.

This huge epic individual journey that is filled with such important life altering, identity shaking events. And yet, those very same events can seem trivial and unimportant with a simple change of perspective.

Sometimes life is about the epic. Sometimes its about the quiet and mundane.

Sometimes its joy and adventure and the thrill of new, unexplored, untried activity, places, people, feelings. Sometimes its about the loss of those we have loved, been close to for years, uprooting habits that were once useful, important and now seem rote and constraining.

Sometimes life is just living day by day. Getting through it as best you can.

And that’s what I want to focus on today. On that – just living day by day, getting through it as best you can.

What does that mean for you?

Because it can be a chore, a drudge, a grind – you can see this, hell, you’ve lived this, you know it! The alarm goes off and you’re already awake, waiting for it, dreading the minute you have to pull back the bedclothes and rise from your pit.

You don’t want to get up, don’t want to face the day, this day that’s the same as yesterday, and the day before and the day before that, stretching back like a black trail of misery and grey cloud behind you.

You don’t want to look in the mirror as you wash, brush your teeth, shave, put on make-up. In fact, you’ve actually gotten good at doing all that without meeting your eyes in the mirror.

And washed, you get dressed, the same clothes more of less as you always wear, a small proportion of your wardrobe, the uniform you hide behind, whether its a suit, dress, or actual corporate wear. Maybe you have breakfast or not, doesn’t really matter, soon you’re out the door, heavy in your heart, on your way to the rest of your day.

And all the time, all day, throughout the day, you’re aware of a grimness, a dissatisfaction, a grey bleakness that’s blotting out the truth of who you are, what you feel, what you want to be, what you’re capable of. That ‘quiet sense of desperation’ that Nilsson talked of.

OR

Living day by day, getting through it as best you can means being in the day, in this moment, not looking back at the past and what happened there or looking to the future and worrying what might happen then.

No. You’re here, living today. Getting up and making the best of everything because you know everything is good. Everything works out perfectly for you, always. You smile when you wake up and before your feet touch the floor you say ‘Thank you, today’s going to be a great day!’

You know if it’s for you, it won’t go past you. (Old Irish saying my Mum would say when I was disappointed about something.) >3

And if not that, then something even better.

You’re getting through life as best you can and its great. You accept everything that happens as good, a gift for your growth, no matter what it is. You learn and grow and do better and every day you live life as your best self, incrementally stepping up more every day. Every day is an opportunity to be more you.

You catch your eye in the mirror as you get ready for the day and smile, your eyes twinkling. Your smile broadens, endorphins swimming in your bloodstream. You’re high on life and love life, laugh as you contemplate all the great things that could happen today for you. Dressing to please your senses, looking forward to getting out into the world, meeting the day with your best self on.

Same day, same words, two wholly different experiences from two fundamentally different attitudes.

That’s what thought whispering ai all about. Choosing the attitude, the thoughts, feelings, emotions, images that make every day a day to get excited about. A day to get up and greet life and yourself with positivity and enthusiasm.

And it can be done by you if you want. You can choose option 2, that vibrant, life affirming, joy expanding option. Its simple. Choose the thoughts that make you feel great and keep thinking them, over and over, all day, every day.

That’s it.

Not easy, because you’ve not trained your brain to think this way and its easy to fall back into old patterns of thinking that lead to the old patterns of being and doing that make you feel the grim grey way.

But if you want change? You want to live your ideal life being the best version of yourself?

The you do the work. That’s the price.

You work for it.

As Britney would say, ‘Work, bitch!’

Its a choice, always your decision. Which life do you want? Then work for the one that’s going to make you feel great. Its worth it, isn’t it?

My favourite tool, the first thing I teach every client is RWID.

Your mind is always on, always thinking. For fuck sake, start using that power to give you what you want out of life, to feel better about yourself, to feel good.

Change your thinking, and you change your life.

Free your mind and the rest will follow.

Love,

Cynthia xx

PS. If you’ve been stuck, feeling like you’ve been living the same day over and over and its no fun anymore, if you’ve fought weight issues, depression, anxiety, addiction, or simply a feeling of general dissatisfaction with how your life is unfolding for you, and you feel like you’ve tried everything and nothing has worked. It’s natural to feel that a solution is almost impossible.

That’s part of what keeps the problem in place.

But real lasting change is possible.

Think how it would feel achieving your goals with far less resistance,  whether it’s dropping excess weight, gaining freedom from depression and anxiety, being a rockstar in your business or career, or excelling in your personal relationships. You can do it, you have no fears about staying stuck and not moving forward anymore.

See yourself fully present and grounded, living with total fulfillment and satisfaction with how life is unfolding for you, with no regrets, as you carve your own path forward, moving forward always forward, no looking back .
